Keep these names with your booking: Kunming 昆明站, Kunming South 昆明南站, Dali 大理站, Lijiang 丽江站 and Shangri-La 香格里拉站. Use the current railway timetable for the actual date and train. The city name alone does not define the station-to-hotel transfer.
Separate arrival transport from sightseeing
Dali Old Town needs a connection from Dali station. Lijiang accommodation may use a meeting point outside pedestrian lanes. In Shangri-La, confirm the hotel and a gentle arrival plan before another outing. For a driver quote, list passengers, suitcases, hotel pins and whether you want sightseeing stops or only a transfer.
Allow separate road time for Lugu Lake
A rail ticket to Lijiang does not take you to Lugu Lake. Arrange the road journey to the specific lakeside village and confirm the return separately. Tell the provider if anyone needs frequent stops. Leave room for changing road conditions instead of attaching a fixed flight to a tightly timed return.
