An itinerary idea, ready to adapt to your pace and travel arrangements.

Days 1–3 · make Chengdu your base

Use the first day to arrive and recover. Spend another day on parks, teahouses and neighbourhood meals. Choose one additional visit according to your interests, such as a panda attraction or Dujiangyan, after checking entry and transport. Do not stack both into an already full city day.

Days 4–6 · one northern base

Move to a Jiuzhaigou-area base using a confirmed connection. Allow an arrival day and a park day. Keep another day flexible for weather, rest or an independently assessed excursion. Check altitude and road time before deciding on Huanglong.

Day 7 · protect your connection

Return with enough buffer for your next journey. If your international flight requires an early departure, put the final night back in Chengdu. This is a flexible planning framework, not a packaged tour or a promise of transport availability.
